BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. Kazakhstan was the main truck-exporting country for Uzbekistan from January through December 2022, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The remaining exporters were: Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.
According to the statistics, Uzbekistan imported 683 units of trucks worth $16.2 million, during the reporting period.
Uzbekistan's top truck-importing source countries in 2022:
Kazakhstan – 246 units;
Kyrgyzstan – 194 units;
Azerbaijan – 84 units;
Tajikistan – 80 units;
Belarus – 66 units;
Other countries - 13 units.
Furthermore, Kazakhstan was one of its largest foreign trade partners in Uzbekistan in 2022. The trade turnover between the countries from January through December 2022 amounted to $4.6 billion. This figure increased by about 30 percent, compared to the figure in 2021($3.9 billion).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover in 2022 amounted to $50.08 billion. This figure increased by 18.6 percent or $7.8 billion, compared to the figure for 2021.
