BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. Poland became the leader among EU countries by having the highest value of import from Uzbekistan in July 2023 (the latest available data), Eurostat said in its data sheet, obtained by Trend.
The data shows that the volume of export from Uzbekistan to Poland in the reporting period amounted to over 8.75 million euros.
The second European country with the largest share of import from Uzbekistan was Lithuania – 6.18 million euros, while Belgium closes the top three with 4.95 million euros.

Overall, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the EU countries from January through July 2023 amounted to over 2.95 billion euros, increasing by 25.75 percent, compared to the same period of 2022 (2.35 billion euros).
Meanwhile, in 2022, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the EU countries amounted to 4.6 billion euros.
