If Turkey will modify its stance on Syria, Tehran and Ankara may pursue a common policy towards Damascus, the Iranian MEHR news agency quotes head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament Alaeddin Boroujerdi as saying.
He said in the coming days the Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani will visit Turkey. He also said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu during his recent visit to Iran, mainly discussed the Syrian issue with the country's officials.
Mr Davutoglu arrived in Tehran on Dec.4. Before his visit, he said Iran's nuclear programme, as well as developments in Syria and Iraq, will be discussed with the country's officials.
