Exports from Iran's Ardabil province grow by 153%

Over the past year, exports of products from Iran’s Ardabil province have increased by 153 percent in value terms, Head of Ardabil Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Ramin Sadeghi said, Trend reports via the organization’s website.
Sadeghi said that products worth over $112 million were exported from the province in one year, adding that the products were exported to different countries, mainly to Iraq and Azerbaijan.
“Glass, mirror, plastic, iron, steel products and potatoes were mainly exported,” the organization’s head noted.
Sadeghi said that 100 production facilities will be established in Ardabil province in the coming months, and half of them will manufacture export-oriented products.
