At least seven people were killed and some were injured in the explosion of a car on Monday in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, Xinhua News Agency reported.
The explosion took place near the point of the Iraqi army in western Anbar province.
The security situation in Iraq remains tense amid the counting of votes of the parliamentary elections in the country March 7.
According to preliminary calculations, Islamic Dawa Party, headed by current Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, has got most votes in Baghdad and settlements inhabited by Shiites. Final election results will be known in late March.
