An Iranian-born surgeon, Professor Seyyed Taqi Nejabat, has announced his readiness for establishing a field hospital in besieged Gaza, reported Press TV .
The renowned surgeon, who lives in Germany, is ready to transfer a medical team consisting of professional surgeons to the Gaza strip with the aim of treating Palestinians in serious need of medical attention.
Nejabat is hoping to enter Gaza and establish the hospital at the earliest time possible.
At least 880 Palestinians have been killed and 3,690 others have been wounded since Israel began its attacks on the Gaza Strip on Dec. 27.
