British Airways has "indefinitely suspended" flights between London and Islamabad in the wake of the Marriott hotel bombing in the Pakistani capital, the airline said Tuesday.
BA said in a statement that it had suspended its six weekly services "in light of the current security situation."
The airline said it was in discussion with numerous operators about possible provision of other travel options to and from Islamabad, reported dpa.
The capital is the only destination in Pakistan served by British Airways.
