Canada on Wednesday condemned the violent terrorist attacks on Afghanistan's national institutions in Kabul, Xinhua reported.
"Canada strongly condemns the terrorist attack on Afghanistan's capital and its people," Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon said in a statement.
"These coordinated attacks once again highlight the systematic destruction that the Taliban are willing to unleash against the Afghan people," he said.
Cannon promised that Canada will continue to support the people of Afghanistan in their efforts to build a peaceful, democratic country that respects human rights.
At least 26 people were killed when Taliban militants launched suicide bomb and gun attacks on three Afghan government buildings earlier Wednesday.
