Soldier killed in blast in S Turkey

A soldier was killed and four others were injured in a blast in southeastern Turkey, reported World Bulletin.

The blast occurred when a land-mine suspected of being planted by PKK in the mountainous area in Semdinli town of the southeastern province of Hakkari went off.

In another incident, two militants were killed in clashes with Turkish security forces in the eastern province of Tunceli.
