From January through November 2019, over 1.4 million flights were carried out in Turkey, which is 0.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
During this period, there were 777,408 domestic flights and 669,761 international flights.
In the reported period, the number of domestic flights decreased by 6.4 percent, while the number of international flights increased by 9.7 percent, according to the ministry.
During the reported period, a total of 512,904 flights were carried out at three main airports of Turkey - Sabiha Gokcen, Esenboga and Antalya airports.
