A senior analyst of World Bank says during his past year conduct President Hassan Rouhani has presented a new image of Iran and Iranians to world nations, proving that his will for moderatism and prudence is both resolute and powerful, IRNA reported.
Ms. Nadereh Shamlou of the World Bank said in an interview with IRNA that although the Iranian president had also last year presented his message of moderatism and prudence to the world nation, but now a year on, it seems as if a strong intermingling between those two elements has occurred.
The prominent international analyst said that President Rouhani's words and deeds have been scrutinized closely by world analysts and it seems now as if he has the required will and capability for pursuing the path he has chosen.
Shamlou said one of the important messages that Rouhani in New York for world nations was that Iran is capable of resolving the root causes of the Middle East problems, and not being a cause for those problems' emergence.
She said that when President Rouhani presented his World against Violence and Extremism (WAVE) proposal in UN General Assembly last year the world, and especially the Middle East were not entangled with terrorism as they are today, and if his proposal had been heeded properly then today's sorrowful events would not have happened at such wide scale dimensions as they are today.
