One of the tires of an Iranian National Airlines (HOMA) passenger plane blew up while it was landing in Bandar Abbas International Airport, but its pilot managed to land safely.
An informed source at HOMA told IRNA late Wednesday night that immediately after the incidence the airport's emergency vehicles rushed to the side of the plane and adopted all the required security measures in time to prevent a catastrophe.
He added that fortunately none of the passenger of the HOMA Flight 256 suffered any injury and they all left the plane safe and sound thanks to the high expertise of their competent pilot.
