Turkish Airlines plane once again struck by lightning

The Turkish Airlines (Türk Hava Yolları) aircraft operating Beirut-Istanbul flight was struck by lightning, CNN Turk reported on Thursday.

Lightning hit the plane carrying 75 passengers shortly after take-off. The plane was forced to return to Beirut.

This is the second THY aircraft, recently struck by lightning. Last week, lightning struck a plane flying from Istanbul to Izmir.
