Political Situation in South Caucasus to be Discussed in Tbilisi
Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 March / corr. Trend I. Alizade/ The political situation in the region as well as the religious issues will be discussed in the conference to be held in Tbilisi, dedicated to the role of the churches in South Caucasus at an initiative of the European Parliament, the press service of Azerbaijani parliament reported.
The joint regional conference Role Of Churches In South Caucasus will be held on 17-18 March by the group of European Popular Party, European Democrats and the representatives of Orthodox Church as well, the parliament press service reported. The conference will study the possible contribution of churches and religious communities to the regional cooperation of the South Caucasus.
MP Azer Amiraslanov will represent Azerbaijan at the conference.
