Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 April / Trend corr S. Agayeva/ The prospects of cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian fields between Azerbaijan and Latvia will be discussed in Riga at the end of April. The negotiations will take place during the official visit of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to Latvia on 23-24 April, Marcis Maksims, the Third Secretary of the Latvian Embassy in Azerbaijan said to Trend on 9 April.
Bilateral cooperation in the political and economic fields, relationships and cooperation at international organizations, as well as Azerbaijan's integration in the Euro-Atlantic structures and transfer of Latvia's experience for carrying out the reforms, will be discussed during the visit.
Mammadyarov is also expected to discuss the cooperation at GUAM.
The Foreign Minister will meet with his counterpart, the Speaker of Latvian Parliament and the Latvian President, the diplomat stated.
