Asim Mollazade Elected Chairman of Democratic Reforms Party of Azerbaijan (video)

Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 July/ Trend , corr J. Babayeva/ Asim Mollazade, chairman of Democratic Reforms Party of Azerbaijan and MP was elected chairman of the party once again in the second conference of the party in Baku on 19 July. Apart from Asim Mollazade, Ramin Hajili, chairman of the youth organization of the Party was also nominated for chairmanship.

Mollzade thanked the conference participants for the trust toward him. "I am sorry that Ramin Hajili was not elected chairman of the party, because the youth should take a lead in Azerbaijan's policy. I am hopeful that the young member of the party will be elected DRP chairman in next conference," Mollazade said.

The members for the Number, Mandate, Drafting Committees, Political Council and Visiting Committee were elected as well.  Asim Mollazade, Rauf Talishinski, Ingilab Ahmadov, Nazim Abdullayev, Edward Chernin, Fatimat Agamirzayeva, Gulnara Mammadzade, Mardan Afandiyev, Eldar Jahangirov, Ilgar Huseynov and Ramin Hajili have been elected members of the Political Council by majority of votes.

Democratic Reforms Party of Azerbaijan was established in 2005. Party's program and activity aims at realizing liberal values. The first conference of the party was held on 4 July 2005.
