Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 August / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Turkey is to hold a Caucasian Forum due to the conflict between Georgia and Russia. This was stated by Turkey's President Abdullah Gul to media.
Turkish Foreign Ministry launched a process to implement the Caucasian Forum.
Gul supports the proposal made by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyib Erdogan to establish 'Caucasian Union'.
Gul said that most countries were interested in the recent developments in the region and Turkey must be a strong from economical and military points of view.
