OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to Discuss Situation in South Caucasus

Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 September / Trend corr. I.Alizade/ The winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) will discuss the situation in South Caucasus.

"The OSCE PA Special Representative for Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict and Georgia Goran Lenmarker will deliver his next report on the situation in Georgia and the entire South Caucasus," Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE PA Eldar Ibrahimov said to Trend on 1 September.

On 1 September, former OSCE PA President, OSCE Special Representative for Nagorno-Karabakh and Georgia Goran Lenmarker arrived in Azerbaijan. He will head for Georgia and Armenia onwards and will develop a report on the situation in the region.

Ibrahimov said the OSCE PA winter session will be taking place in Toronto, Canada, from 18 to 21 September. "Azerbaijani delegation will initiate discussions over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the arsons committed by Armenians in the occupied territory, devastation of spiritual and cultural monuments," he said.
