Political State of   Middle East Influences on Development of Education, Says Head of Egyptian Delegation at ISESCO

Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 October / Trend corr. U.Sadixova / Political state of the Middle East countries directly influences on education of the region, Ahmed Bayonu Shehab-Addin, the head of the Egyptian delegation at the ISESCO told Trend on 6 October.

According to Shehab-Addin, the education field faces with financial and inter-political problems of the Arabic countries.

їFinancial difficulties of the Arabic countries, as well as the countries, which are in war condition, such as Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, brakes development of education of the youth,ї said Shehab-Addin said, who is attending the fourth ISESCO conference, dedicated to problems of education and science in the Islamic countries.

Although Egypt, where demographic situation is estimated as better in the East (80mln population), does not have such problems. Reduction in level of education in neighboring countries influences on development of the whole region, including Egypt, he said.

ї Egypt, jointly with other Muslim countries, including Azerbaijan, actively participates in improvement of education in Palestine and Lebanon,ї Shehab-Addin said.

The fourth conference of the Organization for Islamic Conferenceїs (OIC) education ministers is held in Azerbaijan from 6 October to 8 October. The Organization for Islamic Conference was established in May 1979.
