The preparations to the military-tactical trainings were discussed at the last meeting of the Turkmen Security Council, the Turkmen official source said.
The meeting of the Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdymuhamedov.
Construction of military cities and frontier posts were reviewed at the meeting.
Berdymuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan, which has the status of a neutrality, does not seek any other purpose other than to protect the sacred borders of the Fatherland and peaceful sky over the country, and intends, in this regard has been steadily implement a comprehensive program to strengthen national security and maintain a high defense army - a guarantee of calm and prosperous life of Turkmen people.
Turkmenistan will continue to pay special attention to the issues of further strengthening the material-technical base of the Armed Forces, training of qualified military personnel and creation of conditions for troops, said Berdymuhamedov.
