Tehran will host the second conference of the Organization of the Islamic Conference health ministers on March 1-4, the Iranian television reported.
The meeting will be held under the slogan of "Equal Medical Services Among Islamic Ummah," Iranian Health Ministry International Relations Department Director Muhammad Huseyn Niknam said.
The conference will focus on scientific proposals concerning health and hygiene, and unifying health standards in Muslim countries.
Niknam said the health ministers of 15 countries will attend the event.
The first conference of the OIC health ministers was held in Kuala Lumpur in 2007. Ten resolutions were adopted at the meeting.
