The Turkmen national footballers gained the second victory in the qualifying stage of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup (AFC-2010) in Mali. The Turkmen team won the Bhutan national team with 7:0 score, after defeating the team of the Maldives islands with 3:1 score.  At present the Turkmen team ranks first with 6 points at the B group, the Turkmen dovlet khabarlari (TDK) news service reported.

A match with the Turkmen team was too important for the Bhutan footballers, as they lost to the Philippines with 0:1 score. They could play at the next stage, only if they won this match. But their game at the first half made clear that their desires ill not come true.

After this match, both rivals have three points. To play in the next stage, the Turkmen team needs either to draw or lose the game with the Philippines team with one ball difference.

The TDK reported that the strongest team of the B group will join to previous prize winners India, Tajikistan and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, as well as the winner of the C group - Kyrgyzstan and D group - Sri Lanka. Two more finalists will be known by late April.
