On May 27, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to German President Horst Kohler on re-election, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The president said in the letter of the congratulation that he is confident the joint efforts will further be made to enhance cooperation and business ties between the two countries.
