Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallim will visit Baku on June 2-4. The visit will focus on perspectives to expand bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Syria, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend on June 1.
The visit has an official character. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has invited his Syrian counterpart to visit the country during the 36th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Conference (Damascus, May 23-25).
The sides will discuss the issues of regional and international cooperation during the visit.
