At least 13 detained Russians in Egypt to be deported: diplomat

At least 13 Russian citizens, who were detained in Egypt, will be deported from the country due to violation of local laws, head of the Russian Embassy in Egypt Counsel Department Bashir Malsagov told RIA Novosti.

"Thirteen people will be deported because of violation of local Egyptian laws, including visa regime," Malsagov said.

The list of deported may be increased in the future.

Before, the Russian Embassy in Egypt got the list of detained Russians. The list informed bout 34 detainees. Later, guards released 12 people and 22 still kept in prisons.
