We will never give up establishing order in Georgia, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said at the opening ceremony of the 'Radisson SAS Iveria' Hotel.
The President stressed that everybody must remember this.
"We think that it is necessary to develop Georgia. This was perfectly demonstrated in Svaneti. I am not announcing that I have given an order to destroy the Aprasidze criminal clan in Svaneti. Even though I consider each human life precious, we have all taken the decision to attack the criminal headquarters using helicopters, and I do not regret this," he said.
Saakashvili stressed that the country's development will start when order is restored. "All this gives us the opportunity to develop tourism in all parts of Georgia, where previously gangsters and criminals have dominated," he said.
