On September 3, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow made a telephone call to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.
The Turkmen leader congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on holy month of Ramadan, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
President Ilham Aliyev in turn congratulated his Turkmen counterpart.
They exchanged views on bilateral relations and a number of other issues of mutual interest.
The Presidents also underlined the two countries have wide potential to further strengthen mutual cooperation.
