British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said during meeting with Foreign Minister of Georgia Grigol Vashadze, who is on visit to London, that his country would never question the sovereignty of Georgia, Vashadze told reporters after meeting with his British counterpart.

British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said during meeting with Foreign Minister of Georgia Grigol Vashadze, who is on visit to London, that his country would never question the sovereignty of Georgia, Vashadze told reporters after meeting with his British counterpart.

According to him, Miliband again confirmed that Britain remains a reliable partner of Georgia and support its entrance to NATO and the EU.

"The British Foreign Secretary said that Britain and the EU do not recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and regard these territories as occupied territories," said Vashadze.
