Georgian vice Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze is on a working visit to Ukraine. Baramidze will attend the Rose-Roth Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Lvov on Oct.14-16.

Georgian vice Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze is on a working visit to Ukraine. Baramidze will attend the Rose-Roth Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Lvov on Oct.14-16.

Baramidze will address to the parliamentarians of the NATO member countries and Ukraine. Baramidze will talk about the current reforms in the country, the Russian-Georgian conflict, the deoccupation of territories and necessary active actions to be taken by the international community, as well as about the prospects of Georgia's integration into the Alliance.

According to Baramidze, Ukraine is an important strategic partner of Georgia and these countries face many challenges and threats. For this reason it is necessary to hold constant consultation and take concerted actions.

During his visit, Baramidze will meet with Ukraine's ministers of interior and foreign affairs. The meetings will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation.

Baramidze is also expected to make a speech on the air of the local TV stations, including "5th Channel" and "Ukraine", to give an interview to the Glavred magazine and the Kommersant newspaper.
