Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov. 9 / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia
Tbilisi Public School No. 34 Principal Kety Natroshvili decided to cancel lessons today after a student was diagnosed with the swine flu.
The first grader was infected from a relative who arrived from the UK.
National Center of Disease Control Director Paata Imnadze complained to the principal, stating there was no need to cancel lessons. He advised all principals to appeal to the Tbilisi Health Service in similar situations.
There have been 37 other cases of the swine flu so far in Georgia.
