The Georgian Parliamentary Delegation has left today for Edinburgh to attend a meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The Georgian delegation includes representatives of majority Irakli Kavtaradze, Giorgi Kandelaki and opposition MP Nika Laliashvili.

The Georgian Parliamentary Delegation has left today for Edinburgh to attend a meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The Georgian delegation includes representatives of majority Irakli Kavtaradze, Giorgi Kandelaki and opposition MP Nika Laliashvili.

Before flying to Britain, Kandelaki said Georgia attaches great importance to the relations of Georgia and NATO within the framework of the Georgia-NATO Council and participation of the Georgian parliamentarians in the NATO PA strengthens Tbilisi's relations with member countries of the alliance.

The MP also noted that the Council of PA NATO-Georgia will also be founded.

"We intend to expand our circle of supporters in NATO, which will support our integration into the alliance," said Kandelaki.
