Upon Azerbaijan Republic Law on service in prosecutor's office agencies, the head of public relations department of General Prosecutor's Office, Eldar Afandiyev, was dismissed from his office, since he reached the age limit for service, the press secretary of General Prosecutor's Office, Eldar Sultanov, told Trend on Jan. 7.
Working in the prosecutor's office agencies of the Republic since 1979, Afandiyev has been repeatedly awarded for his merits, including "Honored lawyer of Azerbaijan Republic" rank, "Honored employee of prosecutor's office" medal and Honored Diploma of Republic Prosecutor's Office.
Candidate of legal sciences Eldar Afandiyev, who is author of many books and more than 500 articles, will continue his scientific activities as department head of Education-Training Center of the General Prosecutor's Office.
