Slovenian-Azerbaijani Business Center will open in Baku.
It will strengthen direct contacts between businessmen of the two countries, exchange information and experiences, Slovenian Consul to Azerbaijan Borut Megushar told Trend today.
The opening of such a center was initiated by Slovenian President Danilo Turk during his official visit to Azerbaijan in November 2009 and was supported by Azerbaijan.
Opening of the center is scheduled for early April.
In January-November 2009, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Slovenia was $28, 1 million.
The entrepreneurs of the two countries cooperate in such areas as ICT, industry and mechanical engineering, construction, trade, services and tourism, finance and consulting, etc.
