Kazimov Gulu (Gulu Kengerli) is a correspondent for Azerbaijani state news agency (AzerTaj) in Uzbekistan. He is winner of an international competition V National Award Oltin Kalam (Golden Pen).

"I am grateful to the organizers for appreciating my work. I hope that my work will contribute to the further development of Azerbaijani-Uzbek friendly relations",  Kengerli said.

Kengerli has been working in Uzbekistan since 1998. This spring, in connection with the 90-th anniversary of AzerTaj agency, he, among other agency staff, was awarded with Tereggi medal by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's order.

The international competition for the national award "Oltin Kalam" has been held since 2006 by Creative Union of Uzbek Journalists jointly with the International Centre for retraining of journalists to promote the best achievements of national and international journalism.

More than 6,700 creative compositions of 450 journalists working in television, radio, in print, online journalism were represented at the competition on 28 nominations. The winners were awarded with diplomas and prizes.

TV channel "Yoshlar" was awarded with the main national award competition - Grand Prix for a series of youth programs.
