The Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor's Office' delegation led by Deputy Military Prosecutor Shafayat Imanov attended the international conference held in Kazan.
Speaking at the conference on "Terrorism and separatism - problems and way outs", Imanov negatively assessed the separatist movement existing in the north Caucasus region of Russia.
Imanov spoke about the crimes committed by the Armenian separatist forces in the Nagorno-Karabakh and reported on the terrorist attacks and in criminal cases that are under the courts' consideration.
He also stressed that terrorist camps operate in the Armenian-occupied uncontrolled territories and the funds derived from illegal drug are used to finance terrorism.
The conference discussed topics related to terrorism, struggle with other forms of separatism, terrorism financing, prevention of illicit drug distribution, experience on the methods of investigation and combating terrorist crimes.
