A preliminary agreement has been reached to hold Turkmen Days of Culture in the Republic of Tatarstan and Tatarstan's Days of Culture in Turkmenistan, the official Turkmen source said.
The initiative belongs to the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov.
Scientific communication dynamically develops, joint archaeological and ethnographic works are held, and joint publications are published between the two states.
Within cooperation between the academies of sciences an agreement is being developed, which envisages establishment of a joint center for Turkmen specialists' training in Russian universities on the basis of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan.
