Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has made a speech at the congress of the European People's Party in Brussels, Belgium, which drew attention to issues of cooperation between Georgia and the EU, the press service of the president reported.

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has made a speech at the congress of the European People's Party in Brussels, Belgium, which drew attention to issues of cooperation between Georgia and the EU, the press service of the president reported.

Saakashvili is due to meet with Chairman of Foreign Affairs Commission of the European Parliament on Thursday.
Saakashvili arrived in Brussels on Wednedsay to attend the congress of the European People's Party.
Saakashvili attended a meeting of leaders of European countries, which included the leaders of EU member-states and other European countries, the President of the Council of Europe, the European Commission and the European Parliament.
The summit was chaired by the president of the European People's Party, Wilfried Martens.
