Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov. 2 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
A monument to Joseph Stalin 'disappeared' in Kutaisi this morning. It will be returned to its original place after the reconstruction of the Victory Square, the Kutaisi City Hall told Trend.
The monument was not dismantled. It was temporarily removed after the reconstruction operations began in the square and the park, a message said.
The monument will be placed at the same site after the operations are completed.
The Georgian authorities have recently dismantled the monument to Stalin in five cities all over the country.
