Kazakhstan, Astana, Nov.26 / Trend A. Maratov /

Lithuania is adopting Kazakhstan's experience, Lithuanian Permanent Representative to the OSCE Renatas Norkus told journalists during an NGO forum.

"Kazakhstan chairs the OSCE competently and professionally," he said. "And we all learn."

According to Norkus, the OSCE summit in Astana is an attribution of the success of the Kazakh government and Kazakh president.

"We hope that this summit will meet our expectations that the organization will not merely exist, but rather become stronger," he said.

Next year, Lithuania will chair the OSCE.

Earlier, the decision to hold the summit in Astana on Dec. 1-2 was adopted by OSCE member states on Aug. 3 . This is the first event of this scale and level in the post-Soviet space.
