The Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia participated in a charity Christmas fair at the Sheraton Metechi together with the diplomatic corps and local citizens.
The fair is held once per year. Ambassadors and members of diplomatic missions, including their family members, sell national souvenirs, products, foods and drinks to citizens at the event.
Once a year, citizens have the unique opportunity to acquire souvenirs and other goods from different countries. This year, alongside Azerbaijan, the embassies of Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, the United States, France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Italy, Japan, China, the Czech Republic and the UK, exhibited their national products.
The Azerbaijani exhibition was one of the most popular at the event. Carpets, national instruments, hats, tablecloths, earthenware plates, postage stamps, commemorative coins, and miniature books, as well as national sweets, were placed on sale. In addition, the best sorts of wine and brandy were brought specially for the fair. Visitors also received the Baku magazine.
The collected funds will be spent on charitable projects.
