Detained Georgian citizens Babutsa Gordadze and Daredjan Kokhtashvili will stand trial in Malaysia today.
The Georgia Foreign Ministry has sent additional evidence to the Malaysian court.
According to the documents, the Georgian women did not know anything about the drugs that were discovered in their luggage.
Gordadze and Kokhtashvili are accused of bringing narcotics into Malaysia. The drugs were hidden in frames, which were in the women's luggage.
Drug crimes are punishable by death in Malaysia.
