Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Hani al-Mulki, Industry and Trade Minister of Jordan and Cochairman of the Azerbaijani-Jordanian Joint Intergovernmental Commission today, the official website of the Azerbaijani President reported.
President Aliyev pointed out to a high level of political links between Azerbaijan and Jordan. President Aliyev noted the importance of mutual visits of heads of states in the development of bilateral relations. The head of the state said there were great plans of development of economic cooperation between the two countries. The President, having spoken about the conduct of a meeting of the Azerbaijani-Jordanian Joint Intergovernmental Commission in Baku, stressed the importance of this meeting from the point of further cooperation.
Hani al-Mulki passed over greetings of the Jordan King Abdullah II to the head of the Azerbaijani State. He informed the Azerbaijani President of the fruitful meetings he had held in the country.
President Aliyev thanked Jordan King Abdullah II for the greetings and asked passing over his personal greetings to him.
