A group of photographers detained in Georgia have been accused of espionage.
They are suspected of collecting, storing and sending confidential information, documents, papers, articles, and information to foreign organizations or their representatives. They may be sentenced to 8 to 12 years in priosn.
According to various sources, Foreign Ministry photographer Giorgi Abdaladze, European Photo Agency photographer Zurab Kurtsikidze, and photojournalist Shah Ayvazov were also detained.
