Baku hosted a presentation of Far and Near Korea book in the days of the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Korea and Azerbaijan.
The authors of the book are the head of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Faig Shahbazov and assistant professor of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical University Agtay Alkhasov.
"This year the two countries celebrate the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations. A good progress is achieved in bilateral relations during this period," Ambassador of Korea to Azerbaijan Lee Ji Ha said at a presentation.
Lee Ji Ha noted that the new book might be a good guide for Azerbaijanis in Korea and will provide an opportunity to get more information about the country.
Lee Ji Ha added that Azerbaijan and Korea have historical roots and similar culture. Historically, people of both countries were divided into two parts and both nations faced with similar problems. Based on these facts, the ambassador called the two countries both near and far.
