President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today attended the opening of 8 KM stadium in Baku.
The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the facility.
The President was told that the stadium could handle up to 11,000 people. It covers a total area of 22,500 square meters. The FIFA-standard stadium is ready to host international tournaments.
President Ilham Aliyev praised conditions created at the facility.
