NATO Headquarters hosted an exhibition on Azerbaijan's participation in Afghanistan on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the restoration of independence of Azerbaijan, said Trend at the Azerbaijan Representation to NATO.
The exhibition has shown photographies reflecting the civil and military support of Azerbaijan to Afghanistan, including the contribution to the operations of NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), and also demonstrated materials that reflect the history, culture and economic development of Azerbaijan.
During the exhibition it was informed about the military and transit support Azerbaijan to ISAF, assistance of the National Agency for Mine Action in Azerbaijan (ANAMA) to Afghanistan, as well as training sessions, organized by the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy for officials of Afghanistan.
The opening ceremony was held with the technical support of the NATO Public Diplomacy Division.
