Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has sent a letter of condolence to Egyptian President Muhamed Morsi on Monday.
Saakashvili expressed his condolences over the death of 50 people, mostly children, in an accident that occurred in the south of the Asiut province near the city of Manfalut.
"In these sad moments I want to assure you that the government and people of Georgia deeply sympathize with the family members of those who were victims of this tragic event. Please, convey my deep sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families," the letter said.
