A delegation led by the Governor of the Iranian Mazandaran Province Ali Akbar Tahaei is arriving in Baku, spokesman at the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan Mohammad Ayatollahi told Trend on Wednesday.
"During the two-day visit, Tahaei will hold meetings to discuss the development of relations between the Iranian Mazandaran Province and Azerbaijan's border areas with Iran," Ayatollahi said.
A few days ago at a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov, Ayatollahi proposed opening a Consulate General of Azerbaijan and a Mazandaran-Baku flight.
