The Syrian opposition is demanding the prosecution of members of the terrorist organization "Hezbollah" over their participation in mass slaughter arranged by the Syrian regime, "Al Jazeera" TV reported on Wednesday.
As the TV channel reported, the opposition also welcomed the EU decision to include the military wing of "Hezbollah" on its list of terrorist organizations.
The Foreign Ministers of the EU countries reached a political agreement on including the military wing of "Hezbollah" on its list of terrorist organizations during a meeting in the capital of Belgium on Monday.
It is expected that this political decision will be clothed in legal form soon; sanctions will be imposed against this organization, its assets in EU countries will be frozen and travel bans will be placed.
However, the head of EU diplomacy Catherine Ashton indicated that the decision will not affect the provision of financial support to Lebanon by EU and its member states.
