Turkey's borders are constantly protected by 51,107 servicemen of Turkey's Armed Forces, a report of Turkey's General Staff, posted on Monday on its official website, said.
According to the report, Turkey's borders are protected by 317 posts of border police. The report also notes that Turkey's land borders are 2,949 kilometres long and protected by the land forces of Turkish Armed Forces.
Turkey's sea borders are 8,333 kilometers and are protected by the Coast Guard of Turkish Armed Forces, the General Staff's report said.
